The reports, submitted in accordance with Article 116(2) of the Constitution, cover the conduct of the 2025 Presidential and National Assembly Elections, as well as the Second Ballot of the 2025 Presidential Election.

During the meeting, President Herminie congratulated the Electoral Commission for the exemplary manner in which the elections were conducted, commending the Commission for ensuring a smooth, transparent, and credible electoral process. As a candidate in the September and October elections, the President expressed his personal satisfaction with the professionalism and integrity demonstrated by the Electoral Commission throughout the entire process.

The President highlighted that on the day the results were announced, he received instant congratulatory messages from several world leaders. This international recognition, he noted, reflects the fact that Seychelles is closely observed and that its electoral processes enjoy respect and credibility within the global community.

President Herminie expressed appreciation for the reports submitted by the Commission and assured that he will carefully review the recommendations. The President reiterated that the integrity of elections remains fundamental to the preservation and sustainability of any democracy.

Mrs. Didon expressed her appreciation to the Electoral Commission team and acknowledged the invaluable contribution of all stakeholders involved in the electoral process. "The successful execution of these elections would not have been possible without the collaborative efforts of our stakeholders," she stated. Mrs. Didon particularly recognized the media for their exceptional coverage, which ensured comprehensive public awareness of electoral activities and proceedings throughout the campaign period.

In an interview with local press after the meeting, Mrs. Didon provided an overview of the report's key findings and recommendations. She addressed various incidents that occurred during the electoral process, confirming that all matters were properly reconciled and that the Commission's records demonstrated full procedural compliance and accuracy throughout all phases of the election.
