The President of the Republic, Dr. Patrick Herminie, and First Lady, Mrs. Veronique Herminie, participated in the “Breakfast on Us” initiative held on Sunday. Organized by Canopy by Hilton Seychelles in partnership with the National Council for Children(NCC),the event aims to spread festive cheer and provide support to children in need during the holiday season.

In support of the “Give a Child a Gift” campaign, both the President and First Lady personally contributed gifts to ensure that under privileged children experience the magic of Christmas.The donated presents will be distributed to over 100 children from four local primary schools, with a formal handover ceremony scheduled at the Anse Boileau Community Centre today.

The event featured vibrant and heartfelt performances by local children, whose talents contributed to an atmosphere of joy and celebration.These performances added a meaningful touch to the occasion, creating a memorable experience for the children and highlighting the importance of unity and community support.

The President commends al stakeholders involved in this noble effort and encourages continued community engagement to foster compassion and kindness across the nation.
