The Office of the President of the Republic of Seychelles, wishes to unequivocally deny any association with the website and link circulated as “melbetprobet.com/…fortuixagent-sc-goverment” entitled “By the order of Wavel Ramkalawan, residents of Seychelles will start receiving income from taxes.’ This link and its contents are entirely fraudulent, misleading, and bear no legitimacy or endorsement from the Government of Seychelles.

We emphasise the following:

• The publication is unauthorized. Neither the Office of the President nor any Seychelles Government Ministry has commissioned, approved, or disseminated any article or statement via the linked webpage.

• Use of false branding and imagery. The fraudulent content attempts to mimic government websites, media house logo ‘Seychelles Nation’ and other officials to deceive the public. Such misuse of official identity is strictly condemned. We have previously issued previous advisories warning the public about fake social media accounts and websites falsely impersonating the President or Government institutions.

The public is advised:

1. Do not share, engage with, or rely on contents from the provided link or any other fake social media profiles or social media accounts. 

2. Verify all communications purportedly from Seychelles’ government agencies through official and recognised channels. 

3. Report suspicious links and social media posts to the Office of the President, Government Ministry, or your local police authorities.

Any official communication from State House is released solely via: Our official website: www.statehouse.gov.sc and accredited State House social media channels. Public are advised to follow information shared by recognised press outlets.

We urge all citizens and residents to stay vigilant and proactive in verifying sources to prevent the spread of false information.
