The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan will lead the Seychelles delegation at the World Governments Summit 2025, set to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Accompanying the President will be various members of the Cabinet of Ministers, along with participants from the UAE Executive Leadership Training Programme who will contribute to key discussions on governance, innovation, and sustainable development.

During the mission, President Ramkalawan will engage in bilateral talks with international counterparts, attend high-level roundtable discussions, and deliver a keynote address at the SDGs in Action Forum, reaffirming Seychelles’ commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The World Government Summit serves as a global platform for leaders to exchange insights on effective governance, technology, and sustainability. Seychelles' participation underscores its dedication to fostering international collaboration and advancing policies that drive national and global progress.

During President Ramkalawan’s absence from the country, his duties and responsibilities will be discharged by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.
