President Ramkalawan Strengthens Partnership with AfDB during Courtesy Visit at State House

The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, received Mr. Abdoulaye Coulibaly, Director of Governance and Economic Reform at the African Development Bank (AfDB), and his delegation for a courtesy call at State House this morning.

President Ramkalawan welcomed the delegation to Seychelles and expressed his gratitude for the guidance and assistance received from the African Development Bank. "As a solid partner, we deeply appreciate our existing collaboration and look forward to strengthening this relationship while heeding valuable advice," stated the Head of State.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the country's progress in economic reforms and various areas of national development. Mr. Coulibaly expressed great satisfaction with Seychelles' performance in implementing economic reforms and suggested sharing the country's experiences and best practices to benefit other nations.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to review their collaboration and assess the progress of ongoing reforms. They also explored how the development partnership could further contribute to ensuring economic growth and stability in Seychelles.

Also in attendance were the Minister of Finance, National Planning and Trade, Mr. Naadir Hassan and the Governor of Seychelles Central Bank, Ms. Caroline Abel.
