The Fisheries Department will hold a press conference on the subject.
Cabinet condemned and deplored the baseless suggestion in a local newspaper that Minister Sylvestre Radegonde might be linked to the death of Mr Gerard Hoareau. Cabinet confirmed the request from the Scotland Yard to interview some Seychellois citizens in relation to the death of Mr Gerard Hoareau, but that Minister Radegonde was not one of those citizens. Cabinet considers such baseless innuendo as a personal attack on the integrity of a member of Cabinet. Cabinet reiterated that the Seychelles Authorities will cooperate with Scotland Yard in the said investigation
