President receives accomplished Seychellois Teacher Miss Merna Eulentin

President Wavel Ramkalawan received Seychellois Teacher, Miss Merna Eulentin recipient of the Honorary Award of Excellence from the University of Montreal at State House this morning.
Miss Merna, had been following a Master's Degree in Education Administration, returned to Seychelles late last year following two years of studies in Montreal, Canada.
" My warmest congratulations to you Miss Merna, we are tremendously proud of your achievements. I am happy that you are back in the country in high spirits and ready to share your knowledge and work towards transforming the teaching profession with greater emphasis on the standards of our education system," said the President.
During discussions with the Head of State, Miss Merna shared her journey throughout her studies, challenges impeding the teaching profession and her vision for the future in Education.
Speaking to the Press after her meeting with the President, Miss Merna expressed her honoured she is of having been received by the highest office in the country and expressed how she is looking forward to forging ahead to share her knowledge, advocate for the teaching profession and making a difference in the education domain in Seychelles.
