The meeting was also a chance to discuss possible new strategies to re-energise the NGO in further advancing its mission to promote and protect the social and economic interests of Seychellois consumers.

On their part, the committee members present thanked the President for the continuous support and for making the time to meet with them, a gesture they said has provided them with renewed vigour to further advance their mandate to educate the public on how to become responsible consumers, and empower them to protect and exercise their rights and responsibilities.
