President Danny Faure visited Praslin this morning as a continuation of his series of visits to inner islands.

The President started his day with a visit to the Praslin branch of two Destination Management Companies (DMCs), Mason’s Travel and Creole Travel Services.

At the Mason’s Travel office located at Grand Anse, the President was welcomed by the General Manager and was introduced to all the staff. He then proceeded to Creole Travel Services, also located at Grand Anse. At both offices President Faure had the opportunity to interact with the staff and engage in discussion with management.

Following this, President Faure visited the SPTC offices, bus depot and workshop and had the opportunity to meet with the staff.

Following up on a visit in January 2019, President Faure also visited numerous agricultural farms located at Amitié Praslin. Accompanied by officials of the Seychelles Agricultural Agency on Praslin, the tour of the farms was an opportunity for the President to meet local farmers and discuss some of the constraints affecting them and ways forward.

In the afternoon, the President met with members of the public on Praslin who had written to him requesting an appointment.
