President Danny Faure today chaired the first series of Inter-Ministerial Committees for 2019.

These meetings are held on a monthly basis, and are attended by Ministers, their Special Advisors and Principal Secretaries, grouped together by sectors.

The purpose of the Inter-Ministerial Committees is for the President to hear directly from the Members concerning the planning and implementation of policy, legislation and projects for 2019 and beyond.  The Inter-Ministerial Meetings also enable the President to receive direct feedback concerning ongoing issues, and to find timely solutions.  They also serve as a clearing house for the sharing of information among Members, and as a high level forum for Members to make their comments and suggestions on emerging issues.
