President Danny Faure today assented to five laws passed by the National Assembly between the 5th and 18th December, and which he received on 26th December for his assent.

The laws which were assented to today were:

• The Appropriation Act 2018

• The Public Service Special Pension Act, 2017

• The Constitutional Appointees' Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 2017

• The Presidential Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 2017

• The Vice-Presidential Emoluments (Amendment) Act, 2017
