President Danny Faure has announced that the recruitment of expatriate security personnel, for employment in organisations such as the Police, Prisons, the NDEA and the Financial Intelligence Unit, must henceforth conform fully to the regulations and procedures governing all expatriate recruitment to the Public Service.

In particular the terms and conditions governing the recruitment and appointment of such personnel must be approved by the Department of Public Administration.
