State House has confirmed that the President has received, from the Electoral Commission, reports on the Presidential and Legislative Elections held in Seychelles in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

The reports, which were received on 13th December, were submitted in accordance with Article 116 (2) of the Constitution, and were also sent to the National Assembly.

The President thanked the Electoral Commission for the Reports, and said that the recommendations of the Commission will be studied in order to determine what specific actions should be considered to strengthen the process of free and fair elections, and to address the concerns of all stakeholders.
