President Michel met today with the César, Camille, and Hoareau families, the relatives of the three people who died at sea after the fishing boat Faith capsized and sank between Praslin and La Digue.
The President was accompanied by Social Affairs, Community Development and Sports Minister Vincent Meriton during the visit at Corgat Estate, Mont Fleuri.
During his visit, he spoke to the children of both Helena César and Cyntha César who died in the incident along with Bernard Camille. He expressed his condolences and offered his support following this tragedy.
Aubrey Jacqueline, Rio Chang Tave and the boat’s skipper Teddy Stravens, survived and are receiving medical treatment.
