President James Michel met with the Head of the African Union Election Observation Mission to Seychelles, H. E. Mrs. Julia Dolly Joiner, who is the former Commissioner for Political Affairs, African Union Commission, at State House this morning.

Also present were the President’s Diplomatic Adviser, Ambassador Callixte d’Offay and Mr. Ibe O. Emmanuel, of the Bureau of the Chairperson for the African Union.

The President and Mrs. Joiner discussed the general climate of the presidential election and the work of the African Union Election Observation Mission to Seychelles.
