President James Michel visited several businesses in the Roche Caiman and Les Mamelles districts this morning, which forms part of his ongoing visits to various communities and businesses this year.
It forms part of the President’s strong engagement to empowering small business entrepreneurs and formulating policies to ensure their growth and shared prosperity for the benefit of the Seychellois people.
President Michel met with the owners of two childcare businesses, a food catering business, a sewing workshop, a drinks bottling plant, a clearing and forwarding business, a hairdressing salon, a clothes shop and tourism apartments.
President James Michel was accompanied on the visit by the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mr. Michael Benstrong, the Special Adviser to the Minister for Investment, Entrepreneurship Development and Business Innovation, Mr. Steve Fanny, the Member of the National Assembly for Roche Caiman, the Hon. Joevana Charles, the District Administrator for Roche Caiman, Mr. Wilbert Omath, the Member of the National Assembly for Les Mamelles, the Hon. Emmanuel Fideria, and senior officials in the Office of the President.
