The Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Danny Faure is representing the Head of State at the 10th Session World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) to be held from 28th – 30th October 2014 in Dubai under the theme “Innovative Partnerships for Economic Growth”.
WIEF is one of the world’s largest gatherings to share knowledge, experience and expertise in Islamic economy and is attended by prominent global leaders, including Heads of State, academics, experts and decision makers as well as influential figures in the field. The Forum will address a number of current economic and business related issues with the objective of generating innovative and creative solutions to transform the global economy and promoting business collaboration.
During the same period, the Vice President will also attend the 1st Global Forum on Youth Policies to be held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, at the invitation of the UN, UNESCO, UNDP and Council of Europe.
This first Global Forum will be a milestone in defining what it means to take young people and policies forward in the 21st century. It will develop guiding principles for integrated youth policy development and build a common understanding of the needs for and rationales of systemic and cross cultural approaches to youth policy.
