The Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Danny Faure is representing the Head of State, President James Michel at the 33rd southern African  Development Community (SADC) Heads of State and Government Summit due to  take place from 17th – 18th August 2013 in Lilongwe, Malawi.

The  Summit will deliberate on a wide range of regional issues including a report on Regional Economic Integration and the appointment of a new leadership for the SADC Secretariat. At the summit, the Head of State of Malawi , President Joyce Banda , will take over the rotating presidency of SADC from President Armando Guebuza of Mozambique.
