Mrs d’Offay’s earns prestigious award for her role in regional integration

Mrs Jeanette d’Offay , special adviser to the minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  has been awarded the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (C.S.K) by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Rajkeswur, on recommendation by Prime Minister Navindra Ramgoolam.

President James Michel has extended his warmest congratulations to Mrs d’Offay on her decoration.

President Michel was himself decorated as Grand Commander of the Star and Key (G.C.S.K), the highest award of the order, last year when he was guest of honour at Mauritius’ national day celebrations.                

Mrs d’Offay was conferred the award during the Mauritius national day celebrations on 12th March 2013. 

Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Paul Adam described Mrs d’Offay as “a remarkable woman who has dedicated her career to the growth and development of the country and her wealth of experience and expertise is an invaluable resource for our country, and for the Indian Ocean Commission as a whole”.
