July 4, 2012 -- Nigeria’s new high commissioner to Seychelles, Solomon Oyateru was accredited yesterday as he presented his credentials to President James A Michel at State House.
After the accreditation ceremony HC Oyateru called on Vice-President Danny Faure.
The high commissioner told the national media later that he talked about hydrocarbons and other topics during his meetings with President Michel and Vice-President Faure.
He is based in Nairobi.
He has pledged to take cooperation between Nigeria and Seychelle3s to greater heights. He said both countries are well advanced in the areas of fisheries, tourism and coastal management.
