The Czech Republic's fifth ambassador to Seychelles, Mr Marek Libřický, presented his credentials to President James A Michel at State House Tuesday.
The two countries are seeking ways to strengthen their bilateral cooperation, notably in the fields of education, training, investment and training. Â
Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary Libřický told the national media after meeting President Michel that during his mandate he would look at "what more the two countries can do together".
Increased cooperation in education, possibly between the University of Seychelles and Czech universities, featured high in the State House discussions. Â
Ambassador Libřický noted that there is quite a number of Seychellois studying in various fields in the Czech Republic.
The Ethiopia-based ambassador described the relations between Seychelles and his country as very good. He added that the countries share a lot of issues of common interest.
