August 10 2011 -- The President has declared that the working day for all public sector workers will end at 3pm on Thursday 11th August and Friday 12th August, subject to the exigencies of the public service. Â
This is to allow public sector workers to leave work earlier and be able to follow the major events of the 8th Indian Ocean Island Games as they approach the semi-final and finals events.
The Games will continue until the 14th of August.
