April 11, 2011 -- Two Air Seychelles pilots who on 8th April were promoted to captains on the Boeing 767 fleet of Air Seychelles, have received letters of congratulations from President James Michel.

The President said that through their hard work, perseverance and tenacity, the captains have proven that "the sky is indeed the limit".

Describing the two young men as role models for all young Seychellois, President Michel added: "We are immensely proud of your achievement, which is yet another victory for Seychelles."

He also told the two captains: "Your success also reflects the importance of investing in people for the future of Seychelles. We have always sought to place people at the centre of development, for it is through our human resource development that Seychelles will be able to rise to the challenges of our time,"
