March 01 2011 -- President James Michel has declared that the afternoon of Friday 4th March 2011, public sector employees will be able to leave work early.

Public sectors employees will be able to leave work from 12:00 noon onwards subject to the needs of the public service.

 

This decision has been taken in view of the occasion of the first International Carnival of Victoria, which will be launched as from 4pm on Friday 4th March at the Victoria clock tower.
