The Office of the President has today announced the appointment of Ms. Nellie Coopoosamy as the new Chief Executive Officer of the National Tender Board, effective 1st September 2025.

Ms. Coopoosamy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

She began her career in 2001 as a Bank Clerk at Nouvobanq. In December 2004, she joined the Ministry of Finance as an Accounts Technician. She later progressed through several senior roles within the Ministry, serving as a Finance Analyst in 2010, Senior Finance Analyst in 2013, and Principal Finance Analyst in 2018. In 2019, she was promoted to Director of Public Budget Management.

In September 2021, Ms. Coopoosamy joined the Seychelles Defence Forces as Financial Controller, a position she has held until her latest appointment as CEO of the National Tender Board.

Her career spans over 24 years, with extensive experience across both the private sector and public service.
