Postmortem Meeting and Appreciation Ceremony Held Following the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025

The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan, today presided over the official Postmortem Meeting of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025 at State House. The high-level session convened members of the FIFA Local Organising Committee, senior government officials, representatives from various agencies, and other key national stakeholders who were instrumental in the planning and successful delivery of the landmark international event.

In his remarks, President Ramkalawan conveyed his profound appreciation and pride to all who contributed to making the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2025—hosted in Africa for the very first time—a resounding success for Seychelles and the broader global sporting community.

Immediately following the meeting, President Ramkalawan officiated a brief Appreciation Ceremony, during which tokens of recognition were presented to representatives of key institutions, organisations, and individuals in acknowledgment of their exemplary commitment and contributions throughout the tournament’s preparatory and operational phases.
