SEYPEC Honours Long-Serving Staff at 40th Anniversary Ceremony

As part of its 40th anniversary celebrations, the Seychelles Petroleum Company (SEYPEC) hosted a Long Service Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, 5th April 2025, at Eden Bleu Hotel. The event paid tribute to employees whose exceptional dedication and service have significantly shaped the company's journey over the decades.

The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, underscoring SEYPEC’s integral role in the nation’s socio-economic development. Joining him were Vice President Mr. Ahmed Afif, Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. Roger Mancienne, members of SEYPEC’s Board of Directors, senior government officials, parliamentarians, members of the diplomatic corps, and other esteemed guests.

Employees who have served the company for 20 years and above and two with over 40 years of service were honoured with tokens of appreciation, celebrating their loyalty, commitment, and enduring contribution to the organisation.

In her address, SEYPEC Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Sarah Romain, expressed profound gratitude to the long-serving staff, highlighting the vital role of human capital in the company's growth. She praised the collective efforts that have transformed SEYPEC into a robust and forward-looking entity with a notable presence both regionally and internationally.

The ceremony marked the beginning of a series of commemorative activities scheduled throughout April, celebrating four decades of SEYPEC’s presence in the petroleum industry. As the company reflects on its legacy, it continues to uphold its commitment to excellence, innovation, and national development.
