The Office of the President, Cabinet Office held its third briefing session for the press yesterday afternoon following an extra-ordinary Cabinet meeting on Monday 21st January at which Members of Cabinet approved the revised draft agreement between the Government of the Republic of Seychelles and the Government of the Republic of India on the Development, Management, Operation and Maintenance of Defence Facilities on Assomption Island.

The Panel present to answer questions for members of the media included Chief of Defence Forces, Brigadier Leopold Payet, the Attorney General, Mr Frank Ally, Secretary of State for Cabinet Affairs, Mr Mohammed Afif, Secretary of State Foreign Affair, Ambassador Barry Faure, Chief of Staff, Colonel Michael Rosette and Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Institutional Affairs, Mr Johny Bastienne.
