President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, accompanied by First Lady Mrs. Linda Ramkalawan, attended the Annual Award Ceremony of the School of Advanced Level Studies (SALS) yesterday afternoon. The event celebrated exceptional academic achievements and special accomplishments of students across various disciplines.
Held in the presence of faculty members, students, parents, and invited guests, the ceremony was a testament to the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and youth development.
In her opening address, the Principal of SALS, Mrs. Larue, commended the collective efforts of students and educators alike. She reaffirmed the school’s mission to provide quality education and to foster the holistic development of its learners.
“Our students are the leaders of tomorrow, and today we honour not only academic brilliance but also growth, effort, and resilience,” she remarked.
The event featured the presentation of Attendance Certificates and Best Performer Awards, recognising students’ commitment to consistency and academic excellence throughout the academic year. Two principal categories of awards were presented: Special Awards and Academic Excellence Awards.
