Pretoria, 7 November 2024 — President Wavel Ramkalawan, currently visiting South Africa to attend the Africa Freedom Prize Award Ceremony hosted by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, paid a call today to the Seychelles Mission in Pretoria. The President was warmly welcomed by Seychelles High Commissioner to South Africa, Ambassador Claude Morel.

During his visit, President Ramkalawan toured the mission’s offices and engaged with staff members. The gathering included Seychellois residents and professionals based in Pretoria, as well as two Seychellois students currently pursuing their studies in the city.

In an informal exchange, the President provided updates on Seychelles' current affairs and took the opportunity to connect with members of the Seychellois community.
