President Wavel Ramkalawan, in his capacity as Head of State, was today informed by the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Seychelles (ACCS) that a couple was arrested yesterday in connection with the disappearance of 50 Million US Dollars in 2002.

The President was further informed that during the search at the couple's residence, a cache of ammunition and arms was also found. The arms and ammunition have been handed over to the Police which is conducting further investigations. 

The President has vouched his utmost support in both the fight against corruption and illegal arms.
