President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Wavel Ramkalawan met with the Prime Minister of Mauritius whilst transiting to attend World Leaders Summit COP26 Glasgow, Scotland. 

The meeting was an opportunity to discuss current affairs and work ahead of the Leaders’ Summit. Both countries will take the same stance on the issue of vulnerability and will seek support for SIDS.

It was the first occasion that the two leaders met since the passing of Sir Anerood Jugnauth, the father of PM Jugnauth. President Ramkalawan once again expressed his sincere condolences.

 

Seychelles and Mauritius continue to share an excellent relationship and further cooperation in various areas of development will be explored.
