The President of the Republic, Mr. Wavel Ramkalawan, will proceed on overseas mission to Dubai, UAE to attend EXPO 2020 from the 26-30 October. During his visit he will attend the Seychelles' Pavilion "National Day” event on the 28th, and deliver a speech at the opening of an investment forum. He will also meet the press and give an exclusive interview to CNN.

President Ramkalawan will then proceed to Glasgow, Scotland from 30 October to 3 November, where he will be attending the Heads of State and Government high-level segment as part of the World Leaders’ Summit at COP26.

The President will be accompanied by a delegation of Government officials and technicians.

During President Ramkalawan’s absence from the country, his duties and responsibilities will be discharged by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.
