President Danny Faure received the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, H.E. Mr Mubarak Mohammad Alsehaijan, at State House this morning.

The Head of State welcomed him to the country and expressed his hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries continue to strengthen Kuwaiti-Seychelles cooperation on matters of mutual interest.

Their discussions focused on his official visit to Seychelles and the way forward to enhance the relations between Seychelles and Kuwait. During his mission in the country, Ambassador Alsehaijan is expected to engage further in meetings with high officials in different Ministries.

Based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Ambassador Alsehaijan presented his credentials as Kuwaiti Ambassador to Seychelles in July this year.

Also present at State House for the visit this morning was the Principal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mrs Marina Confait, and other Department of Foreign Affairs officials.
