President Danny Faure has announced the appointment of Mrs Rose-Marie Bargain as the new Principal Secretary for the Blue Economy with effect from 1st November 2017.  She replaces Ms Rebecca Loustau-Lalanne  who becomes Advisor to the Vice President.

Mrs Bargain holds an MSc in Environmental Sciences and Marine Biology from the University of Bordeaux in France, and has a Diploma in Management.  She worked at the Seychelles Fishing Authority as a fisheries biologist and research manager capacity between 1992 and 2010, when she moved to the private sector.
