President Danny Faure met with Chief Executive Officers of all budget Dependent Agencies and Regulatory Bodies during a special meeting held at National House this afternoon.

The objective of the meeting, chaired by the President was to announce plans for the implementation of the extended Delegation of Authority to all budget Dependent Agencies and Regulatory Bodies. Thereafter a framework and guidelines will be issued by the Department of Public Administration in consultation with the Agencies and Bodies.

During his address the President urged the CEOs to work as a team and in every decision or action they take and to ensure fairness, a high standard of service delivery and that the welfare of the people remains at the centre. The Chief Executive Officers also had the opportunity to have direct dialogue with the President following his intervention.

Present as part of the panel during the special forum was the Vice President, Mr Vincent Meriton, the Designated Minister, Mrs Macsuzy Mondon, Secretary of State Cabinet Affairs, Mr Mohammed Afif and the Chief Secretary Public Service, Mrs Jession Esparon.
