President Danny Faure has appointed Mr Michael Benstrong as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles International Mercantile Banking Corporation Limited (Nouvobanq) with effect from 15th July, 2017.

Mr Benstrong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, majoring in Accounting and Finance.  He has an extensive background in Banking, Funds Management and Investment.  He has 10 years' previous experience in bank management, having served as Deputy Managing Director of the Seychelles Savings Bank, and later as the Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Commercial Bank. He has served as a Minister in the Government of Seychelles since February 2015, and held various portfolios, including Investment, Entrepreneurship Development & Business Innovation, and most recently he held the portfolio for Fisheries & Agriculture.
