President Danny Faure has appointed Ms Karen Domingue to the currently vacant post of Chairperson of the Fair Trading Commission (FTC).
Ms Domingue has a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Aix-en-Provence in France.
She is an Attorney-at-Law and a Notary. She has previously served over four years as State Counsel in the Department of Legal Affairs, and established her own private practice in 2000.
Her appointment as Chairperson FTC takes effect immediately.
