President James Michel met with the Secertary-General of the Indian Ocean Commission, H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude de L’Estrac, at State House this morning. The Secretary-General forms part of the IOC observers mission for the 2015 presidential election.

Also present was the President’s Diplomatic Adviser, Ambassador Callixte d’Offay.

They discussed the general climate of the presidential election and the work of the Electoral Commission and international observer groups.
