The President of Round Table International, Mr Jeroen De Graff, paid a courtesy call on President James Michel this morning, together with a delegates attending the Round Table Regional Africa Meeting this week in Seychelles.
The President praised the active role the Seychelles Round Table has in society and thanked the organisation for its contributions.
" It is good to see young professionals working together to help the community, for social empowerment and charitable causes. We appreciate the work of Round Table in Seychelles, especially the activities organised such as the annual Regatta, which is popular," said President Michel during the meeting.
Mr Jeroen De Graff, who was also the President of Round Table Netherlands, and his delegates briefed the President on their future projects and pledged to continue serving Seychelles in various charitable projects.
Earlier today, Round Table International donated an ultrasound machine for detection of prostate cancer to the Seychelles Hospital, a donation which was presented with the President of Round Table Germany, as this was joint effort between Round Table Seychelles and Round Table Germany.
