Ms Véronique Laporte has submitted her resignation to the President, as Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Health, citing personal reasons.

President Michel has accepted her resignation with regret and has thanked Ms Laporte for her contribution.  Her resignation takes effect on 1st March 2013.

Dr Jude Gédéon will act as Principal Secretary for Health upon Ms Laporte's departure.
