The newly accredited Palestinian ambassador to Seychelles, Dr Nasri Abu Jaish, said yesterday that he hoped to promote and strengthen friendly relations between Palestine and Seychelles in many sectors like culture, tourism and other areas to be explored by the two countries.
He was speaking after presenting his credentials to President James A Michel at State House.
He also called on the Vice-President, Mr Danny Faure.
Dr Jaish said Seychelles and Palestine have a long-standing and friendly relationship, and he hopes to build on this. Â
The Palestinian ambassador to Seychelles is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
