December 9, 2010 -- The battle against corruption must go on in Seychelles as in other countries around the world so as to eliminate its negative impact on society, Vice-President Danny Faure has said.
He has published a message on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day today.
"The Seychelles government is firmly committed to the anti-corruption cause as it is fully aware of the negative effects corruption has on a country," said the VP.
He pointed out that Seychelles is one of the countries that ratified the United Nations convention against corruption in 2004.
VP Faure urged all Seychellois to strengthen their values and integrity and stand up for good governance.
