December 7, 2010 -- The government is proposing a 2011 national budget of R3,007,658,000, the Vice-President, Mr Danny Faure, who is also the Minister for Finance and Trade, informed the National Assembly this morning.

If approved, the Ministry of Health will get the lion's share of the budget with R379,635,000, followed by the Ministry of  Education, Employment and Human Resources with a proposed allocation of R366,962,000.
