August 4, 2010 -- The participants in the Seychelles' Got Talent competition have been congratulated by President James Michel.

The President and First Lady Natalie Michel on Saturday attended the finals of the annual music show organized by the Jj Spirit Foundation. President Michel is the patron of the Jj Spirit Foundation.

"I would like to thank all who took part in the contest, who competed from the beginning, and also those who made it to the finals," said Mr Michel.

"The performances were very impressive and showed the wide range of talent of the young singers we have in Seychelles."

President Michel commended the Jj Spirit Foundation for this great initiative "which gives the young people of this country the opportunity to develop their skills and potential, and showcases the wealth of ideas, motivation and courage our young people have".

The competition raises money for charitable causes.
