March 8, 2010 -- The ruling Parti Lepep on Friday launched its Women's League during a ceremony at the International Conference Centre.

President James Michel, who is also head of the party, paid tribute to all the women who have worked to improve the lives of the Seychellois people.

Mrs Mitcy Larue, Member of the National Assembly for Baie Ste Anne, is the league's chairperson.
