President Danny Faure has called on the newly appointed Ombudsman, Auditor General and the Anti-Corruption Commission of Seychelles (ACCS) to coordinate their efforts to undertake an investigation to determine the facts concerning a US$50M grant that may have been received through the Central Bank of Seychelles.
The President said that his decision to have the matter investigated was in line with his firm commitment to principles of transparency, accountability, the rule of law and good governance, and that such a course of action would be in the best interests of Seychelles.
